The Forests For Tomorrow program has provided the ECF with $762,236 in funding focused on rehabilitation work consistent with the type 4 silviculture regime.
The ECF will be undertaking planting of 344,000 seedlings in 2022 to reforest 171ha of rehabilitated MPB forests.
Treatment of an additional 175ha will also be undertaken with further surveys and professional assessments to ensure a consistent workflow for future funding.
