Notice of Operations – Log Hauling December 2, 2024

December 4, 2024

Please note that log hauling has commenced on the morning of December 2, 2024. These activities are expected to continue until the Middle of January, barring delays or changes in climate conditions.

The ECF has provided updates promptly as received by the end-user once notified of activity start-up. Due to climate conditions, at the time of the initial correspondence regarding hauling, infrastructure became unsuitable due to soil moisture and poor road conditions, causing delays in start-up. The ECF will continue relaying activity start-up notices as received by Tolko Industries.

If you have any questions or concerns, please email eniyudcf@gmail.com.

The ECF has developed a document that outlines the key steps in post-wildfire management such as salvage, assessment, rehabilitation, and the application of federal and provincially available funding sources
